Interesting facts about fruit juice concentrate

Fruit juice concentrate is made by gently heating freshly squeezed juice. The water is extracted from the juice by heating it in a vacuum on low heat, which results in a much lower boiling temperature. Afterwards, the fruit juice concentrate is diluted back with specially treated drinking water if needed.
In other words, freshly squeezed juice is made into fruit juice concentrate, which is used in Pulmoll fruit pastilles and gives them an even fruitier taste.
