Naturally fresh: All sugar-free Pulmoll flavours are now sweetened with Stevia*.
Herbolzheim, March 2012. Pulmoll now uses the sweetness of plants: The sugar-free Pulmoll products are pioneers of the use of Stevia* in Germany.
Therefore Pulmoll has developed a new high-quality, sugar-free and thus tooth-friendly and low-calorie recipe from fruit juice concentrate and Stevai*. It makes the sugar-free Pulmoll taste more natural.
Stevia*, a sweetener that is made from the leaves of the Stevia plant is on everyone’s lips. But what makes Stevia* so special? Stevia tastes up to 300 times sweeter than table sugar, is tooth-friendly and doesn’t contain calories. The leaves and extracts of the plant can be used as calorie-free sweeteners in food and drinks, so there is no need to use artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and acesulfame-K. The Swiss botanist Moises Bertoni Giacomo discovered the plant in 1887 in South America. It’s been grown there since the late 1970s on plantations.
Since late 2011 Stevia* is allowed to be used in Germany; First foods now rely on the sweetness of the Stevia* plant: Pioneers are the sugar-free Pulmoll products whose recipes were altered to the use of Stevia*. The new recipe with fruit juice concentrate and Stevia* leaves enables the products to be able to do without the artificial sweetners Aspartam and Acesulfame-K. The change is a result of a long and intensive product research, including thorough in-depth tested recipes, which specialize on flavor. The result is outstanding! Pulmoll with Stevia* now provides for a great taste experience.
“The recipe now makes our little gentle helpers more natural in taste and lets us proudly expand our traditional slogan. As of now it’s called: Natürlich Pulmoll – die kleinen sanfren Helfer”, Annika Kaldewey explains, who is Product Management International for Kalfany Süße Werbung GmbH & Co. KG. The innovation presented a striking information sticker to un-fold on the known tin, which explains the recipe and provides information about Stevia*
